How do Muslims deal with the CONTRADICTION that ALLAH of the Qur’an, even though he claims (QS 29:46) to be the SAME God of the Torah and Gospel (who is called our FATHER) in no way, shape or form is Allah FATHER to anyone (QS 6:100)?
Could the easy way out for Muslims in dealing with this contradiction be to claim “corruption!” even though across the ages Jesus, Moses, King David and the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah were all saying the SAME thing: that the God of the Torah and Gospel is ‘FATHER’ (spiritually that is)? They ALL lied? That’s incredibly!
The fifth book of the Torah makes reference to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as ‘our FATHER’. Moses was addressing the rebellious children of Israel:
“Is this the way you repay the Lord, you foolish and unwise people? Is he not your FATHER, your Creator, who made you and formed you?” (Deuteronomy 32:6).
God says King David would call him, “Father”:He will call out to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior.’ And I will appoint him to be my firstborn, the most exalted of the kings of the earth (Psalms 89:26-27).
The prophet Isaiah, from whom Muslims claim to have given a prophecy of Muhammad (in Isaiah 42), says this of God: “But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name” (Isaiah 63:16).
“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord; do not remember our sins forever. Oh, look on us, we pray, for we are all your people”
(Isaiah 64:8-9).
If Isaiah is authentic enough for Muslims to quote him in attempting to prove the prophethood of Muhammad, he should be trustworthy in proving that God IS our Father. Only Muslims possess the special ability (hypocrisy) to believe Isaiah in one sentence and throw him out as unreliable in the next!
Jesus also taught, as did Moses and the Prophets, that God is our Father: “This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name (Matthew 6:9).
The Torah, the Prophets and the Gospels are all in agreement that God is our Father. It is the Qur’an which breaks the chain of narration and contradicts (not corrects) the previous scriptures!
Allah of the Qur’an, in no way, shape or form (spiritually, literally or metaphorically) is he FATHER to anyone (QS 6:100). God being our spiritual Father does not mean (as the Greek pagan worshipers of Zues and the Qur’an (QS 6:101) would have Muslims believe too) that it is impossible for us to be God’s children, unless God had genitals and a partner/consort!
Allah seems very limited in his ability to relate spiritually to his creation as his children. In his limitation, Allah identifies, in this case, with the pagan gods of Greek mythology.
Clearly, Allah seems very limited in his ability to relate spiritually to his believers as his children, yet this is spiritual and amazing relationship between the true God and his children is explained here (outside Allah’s dilemma of having children through having a consort):”But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13).
This should be evidence and a warning to Muslims that Allah of the Qur’an (and his abominable Kaaba, idolatrous Hajr e aswad (Black stone) and false Jannah of 72 virgins is an IMITATION (with contradictions) of the true God whose special, eternal and covenant name (which he revealed to mankind through Moses in the Torah) is given as follows: ‘God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is MY NAME FOREVER, the name you shall call me from GENERATION to GENERATION.” (Exodus 3:15).
Is this covenant name any one of the 99 names of the 7th century god, Allah? In which verse of the Qur’an or hadith can you find the eternal and covenant name of God?
Allah has no written historical records or oral tradition before 610, except as the pagan god, Hubal (“He who is Baal”) worshipped at the centre of pagan worship in Mecca. Hubal was the Allah of the Kaaba.
Beloved Muslim, seek the true God while he may be found (Isaiah 55:6-7).
