Beloved Muslims MISTAKENLY believe that just because the Torah teaches about the monotheistic (ONE) God THEREFORE Allah of the Qur’an, who is also ONE, must be the same God as claimed in QS 29:46! In the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:4) God declares that he is ONE [“ONE” in Deuteronomy 6:4 in the Hebrew language is “ECHAD“ which means a single entity but made up of more than one part (unity). There is another Hebrew word from the same root–“YACHID” which strictly means single)]. “ECHAD“ is also used in Genesis 2:24 in referring to a husband and wife being “one” flesh.. Both the God of the Torah and Allah claim to be the Most High who created the earth and the universe but CLAIMS are deceiving.
Even though the God of the Torah and Allah of the Qur’an share the CONCEPT of the ONE (monotheistic) God, it doesn’t mean they are the SAME God whatsoever. If we both attend SCHOOL, it doesn’t mean we attend the SAME school. The 7th century god, Allah of the Qur’an, is NOT the ONE and true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob of the Torah even though Allah claims to be (QS 29:46).
You may be deceived by the CONCEPT of a ONE God (monotheism) and the attributes of the true God which the god of the 7th century, Allah, also claims about himself (the Most High, Creator (of the heavens and the earth), Maker, All Mighty, All Knowing etc). Did you know that by the same CONCEPT, Satan is ONE (monotheistic) too? Satan is a being who deceives by using RIGHTEOUS DEEDS through his SERVANTS (2 Corinthians 11:14-15) mixed with false worship of himself as “the Most High” (Isaiah 14:12-14).
Strangely, Allah claims to be the ‘Most High’ but that is a title which only belongs to the true God of the Torah and Gospel who spiritually is our Father (Deuteronomy 32:6, Isaiah 63:16, 64:8, Jeremiah 31:9) and whose special, eternal and covenant name (which he revealed to mankind through Moses in the Torah). God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is MY NAME FOREVER, the name you shall call me from GENERATION to GENERATION.” (Exodus 3:15). This covenant name is NOT any one of the 99 names of the 7th century god, Allah. In which verse of the Qur’an or hadith can you find the eternal and covenant name of God?
Jesus also referred to this name:
But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” Matthew 22:31-32
This is the name of the God whom Jesus communicated with and called out to while on the cross, not the 7th century god, Allah, of the Qur’an.This is why in the Qur’an you have a false god disguised as the true God, having a false conversation with an imposter of the true Jesus (Al-Maidah 5:109-120)
Allah of the Qur’an says he is in no way, shape or form a FATHER to no anyone (QS 6:100). God being our spiritual Father does not mean (as the Greek pagan worshipers of Zues and the Qur’an (QS 6:101) would have Muslims believe too) that it is impossible for us to be God’s children, unless God had genitals and a partner/consort! Allah seems very limited in his ability to relate spiritually to his creation as his children. In his limitation, Allah identifies in this case with the pagan gods of Greek mythology!

The fifth book of the Torah makes reference to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as ‘our FATHER’. Moses was addressing the rebellious children of Israel:
“Is this the way you repay the Lord, you foolish and unwise people? Is he not your FATHER, your Creator, who made you and formed you?”
Deuteronomy 32:6
Satan vows: “I will make myself like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:14) so is no surprise that Islam has set up an abominable shrine to its false god, Allah (the Al-Aqsa Compound) on the ruins of the temple (Temple Mount) of the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The Al-Aqsa is a physical manifestation of the desire of Allah of the Qur’an to be like the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Allah of the Qur’an has no written historical records or oral tradition before 610, except as the pagan god, Hubal (“He who is Baal”) worshipped around the centre of pagan worship in Mecca. Hubal was the Allah of the Kaaba.

2. Allah’s true identity exposed: https://youtu.be/rvxkx0BnAA8

I’m no longer following your point since I already shed some light to you as to why God did not want the Israelites to call him Baal because the title simple meant ‘my Master’ and originally carried no negative connotation until the Israelites began to apply this title to false gods.
God then tells them that they should call him ‘my husband’ (Ishi) because of the abuse of the title ‘Baal’. Frankly I’m beginning to feel dull explaining the same point!
With regards to God being a husband that marries you are RIGHT but WRONG.
WRONG in the sense that you being Muslim, you typically take this attribute LITERALLY and run with it to the muddy pool where the sun sets instead of understanding it METAPHORICALLY.
Jesus also compared his disciples to “guests of the bridegroom”:
“Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?” Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.” Matthew 9:14-15
This beautiful metaphor actually continues further where Jesus in the end of the age comes to “wed his bride” (the church of believers).
The beauty, celebration and joy of Jesus’s union with believers is compared to the joy of a bridegroom groom marrying his bride:
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
(Ephesians 5:25-27)
“Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
(Revelation 19:6-9)
So yes, metaphorically God is the husband to Israel in the Old Testament.
Your deliberately misinterpretation of Hosea 2 to suggest that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the false god ‘Baal’ is disappointing. Since Allah claims (QS 29:46) that he is the God of the Torah and Gospel, that would mean that Allah is ‘Baal’ of Hosea 2 because Hosea 2 is referring to the God of the Torah and Gospel. Do you see that your argument is ridiculous and you shoot yourself in the foot with it?
The issue in Hosea 2 is about context and application, just like the word ‘Elohim’ was used by the Israelites for God although other false gods were also generically referred to as Elohim. Elohim was as generic then as god is generic today for many other deities. Yes the Israelites called God ‘Baal’ (whose meaning simple means ‘my Master’ and at the time had no negative attachment to it) but they soon began to worship OTHER false gods whom they applied the name Baal to, resulting in the name Baal picking up a negative and satanic attachment. As a result God tells the Israelites that they should not continue to associate HIM with the name Baal because it had become associated with idolatry. So far so good!
So here are the verses to assist your comprehension:
“She [Israel] has not acknowledged that I was the one who gave her the grain, the new wine and oil, who lavished on her the silver and gold— which they used for Baal.
(Hosea 2:8).
“I will punish her for the days she burned incense to the Baals; she decked herself with rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers, but me she forgot,” declares the Lord (Hosea 2:13).
“In that day,” declares the Lord, “you will call me ‘my husband’ [Ishi]; you will no longer call me ‘my master.’ I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; no longer will their names be invoked
. (Hosea 2:16-17)
That is why Isaiah 54 further supports God’s decree that he should be called ‘My Husband’ [Ishi] and NOT ‘my Master’ (Baal):
“For your Maker is your husband— the Lord Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.
(Isaiah 54:5).
No. We do not believe in the entirely same Torah and Gospel that was revealed. Calm the excitement down Mr/Mrs TruthDM, I’ll answer your article VERY SOON. I know Christian missionaries and apologist love talking about this.
Refer to Isaiah 54:5 “For your husband”
https://biblehub.com/lexicon/isaiah/54-5.htm
Strong’s Concordance (1166.baal)
baal: to marry, rule over
Original Word: בָּעַל
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: baal
Phonetic Spelling: (baw-al’)
Definition: to marry, rule over
Moreover, Baal is a god that marries, Baal is a husband.
Peace!
Friend, did you bother to read the rest of chapter of Hosea 2 to get the context? Please do. You will easily understand it if you try.
2. Whether we call God “dady” etc is trivial and beside the critical point which is this: you follow a god who falsely claims (QS 29:46) to be the God of the Torah and Gospel but when we see the attribute of the the God of the Torah and Gospel as ‘FATHER’, we realise that Allah is lying to you and you don’t have a problem with that?
3.By the way, for the last time, I’m POLITELY requesting that in your next comment you address the issue of what the QUR’AN ACTUALLY SAYS about the preservation of the Torah and Gospel. I feel that any comments or questions going forward which do not address this issue will be regarded as TROLLING. You may answer at least 3 (out of six) questions only. Looking forward to hearing from you. Who is wrong about the preservation of the Torah and Gospels: you or your god, Allah? Here is the link to the questions: https://muslimsinvited.co.za/?p=2297
I know you are excited, in fact it is the favourite topic of Christian missionaries, I will address the issue VERY SOON INSHALLAH don’t worry. I have mentioned in my last comment that “Baali” or “my Baal” is a symbolic name for Yah. Also why did you ignore Isaiah 54:5? No matter how you look at it, Judaism was once a religion of Baal worship, it may be possible Yahweh embraced the identity as their “husband” but discarded it afterwards. Nowhere in the Glorious Quran Allah identifies as Baal, Allah is not anyone’s husband.
Peace!
Once again, I need you to focus and not be caught up in things you don’t understand. Start with the Qur’an and let’s see if you understand it. Answer the six questions: who is wrong about the preservation of the Torah and Gospels: you or your god, Allah? Here is the link to the questions: https://muslimsinvited.co.za/?p=2297
Friend, your comment about Allah not being a father to no one proves exactly that Allah of the Qur’an are NOT the same God.
The true God of the Torah and Gospel is spiritually our Father. Allah of the Qur’an, even though he claims to be the same God of the Torah and Gospel (QS 29:46) in no way, shape or form is Allah FATHER to anyone (QS 6:100).
Jesus, Moses and the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah refer to the God of the Torah and Gospels as our Father.
The fifth book of the Torah makes reference to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as ‘our FATHER’. Moses was addressing the rebellious children of Israel:
“Is this the way you repay the Lord, you foolish and unwise people? Is he not your FATHER, your Creator, who made you and formed you?” (Deuteronomy 32:6).
God says King David would call him, “Father”:He will call out to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior.’ And I will appoint him to be my firstborn, the most exalted of the kings of the earth (Psalms 89:26-27).
The prophet Isaiah, from whom Muslims claim to have given a prophecy of Muhammad (in Isaiah 42), says this of God:
“But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name” (Isaiah 63:16).
“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand (Isaiah 64:8).
If Isaiah is authentic enough for Muslims to quote him in attempting to prove the prophethood of Muhammad, he should be trustworthy in proving that God IS our Father. Only Muslims possess the special ability (hypocrisy) to believe Isaiah in one sentence and throw him out as unreliable in the next!
Jesus also taught, as did Moses and the Prophets, that God is our Father:
“This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name (Matthew 6:9).
The Torah, the Prophets and the Gospels are all in agreement that God is our Father. It is the Qur’an breaks the chain of narration and contradicts (not correct) the previous scriptures!
Allah of the Qur’an, in no way, shape or form is he FATHER to anyone one (QS 6:100). God being a father does not mean, as the pagan worshipers of Zues and the Qur’an (QS 6:101) would have Muslims believe, that in order to have children, God must have genitals and a partner/consort.
Allah of the Qur’an (and his abominable Kaaba, idolatrous Hajr e aswad (Black stone) and false Jannah of 72 virgins is an imitation (with contradictions) of the true God whose special, eternal and covenant name (which he revealed to mankind through Moses in the Torah) is given as follows: ‘God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is MY NAME FOREVER, the name you shall call me from GENERATION to GENERATION.” (Exodus 3:15).
Is this covenant name any one of the 99 names of the 7th century god, Allah? In which verse of the Qur’an or hadith can you find the eternal and covenant name of God?
This should be evidence and a warning to Muslims that Allah has no written historical records or oral tradition before 610, except as the pagan god, Hubal (“He who is Baal”) worshipped at the centre of pagan worship in Mecca. Hubal was the Allah of the Kaaba.
Beloved Muslim, seek the true God while he may be found (Isaiah 55:6-7).
Blessings!

Christian, as God is your “spiritual Father”, can you call Him “Daddy” instead? Can any Christian or Jew do this? Instead of calling on “Father” in the Lord’s Prayer, can you replace it with “Daddy”, “Papa”, “Pops”, “Old Man”? for e.g. “O Daddy who art in heaven”. Why or why not?
Christian, Hosea exposed Yahweh as being “Baal” to the Jews. (read Hosea 2:16, refer to “Baali”)
Strong’s 1180: Baali — ‘my Baal’, a symbolic name for Yah
Yah is your BAAL indeed!
The beloved author of “Isaiah” also does this:
Refer to Isaiah 54:5 “For your husband”

Yet, Allah Almighty said this in the Glorious Quran regarding the pagan god Baal:
037:125 “Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators
Peace be upon you!

Friend, thank you for visiting this site. Just out of curiosity, did you find it through YouTube?
I have a few concerns regarding your comments.
1. Your reasoning is that God called himself Father only to the Israelites? But Allah of the Qur’an completely rejects the idea of himself being Father to anyone. (In all instances where I refer to God being ‘Father’ I’m doing so in the sense that he is our SPIRITUAL Father, and not biological Father). The Fatherhood and Sonship of God is also a spiritual relationship without the need for a wife /partner or consort as Allah makes Muslims believe that WOULD be the case.
2. God can be Father to the Israelites but can’t be Father to mankind? His spiritual power becomes limited when he has to be the Father to mankind (believers)?
3. THIS IS IMPORTANT: please read through this article regarding the reliability of the Torah and Gospels as it will form a central part in our engagement going forward https://muslimsinvited.co.za/?p=2297
There are 6 QUESTIONS which I raise in this article
Yes I’ve found your site through youtube.
Regarding your replies:
I meant the “God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob” name, The God of Israelites fathers. I didn’t mean the “Father” name. I don’t believe Israelites or anyone has the right to call God their father. I agree God in Islam has no son/father type relations, physical nor spiritual. Attributing any sorts of descendants to Allah is a blasphemy. Children of God titles are recognised as “servants raised to honour” (Quran 21:26). Nothing more than servants.
Kind Regards,
TheAntiPaul
Taken from Jews for Judaism:
Echad could also mean absolute one. This is illustrated by such verses as 2 Samuel 13:30: “Absolom has slain all the king’s sons, and there is not one of them left”; 2 Samuel 17:12: “And of all the men that are with him we will not leave so much as one”; Exodus 9:7: “There did not die of the cattle of Israel even one”; 2 Samuel 17:22: “There lacked not one of them that was not gone over the Jordan”; Ecclesiastes 4:8: There is one [that is alone], and he has not a second; yea, he has neither son nor brother
“This covenant name is NOT any one of the 99 names of the 7th century god, Allah. In which verse of the Qur’an or hadith can you find the eternal and covenant name of God?”
Its not necessary for Muslims to rely on the current Torah or Gospel for God’s names. This is only a matter of what you believe. You believe the Torah you have today is completely preserved, Muslims think otherwise. Besides the message was only for the ISRAELITES, the names that the Israelites are meant to call by. The biblical God is a God of many fathers. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were fathers of Israelites. Regardless, this matter is of no issue to muslims.
“Allah of the Qur’an says he is in no way, shape or form a FATHER to no anyone (QS 6:100). God being a father does not mean, as the pagan worshipers of Zues and the Qur’an (QS 6:101) would have Muslims believe, that in order to have children, God must have genitals and a partner/consort. This is a CONTRADICTION because Allah did have, as is the claim, the ability to give Mary a biological child even though Mary had no partner!”
Does not mean Allah is a father to Jesus by biological means. Everything is a creation of Allah. Just like how humans can create various technologies but are not fathers to it. You cannot assume Allah allowing Mary a virgin birth is a contradiction as Allah is not in the likeness of His creations (Quran 42:11)
“Allah of the Qur’an has no written historical records or oral tradition before 610”
What is your point? Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. There is no records of the Torah from Moses’s time and the written gospels came decades after Jesus ascended. There is hardly any evidence for biblical figures like Job, Enoch, Abraham etc.
