This is mind blowing! So from where really did Christians [or the New Testament (NT)] get the idea that the Messiah is the Son of God? Was this a new teaching of the NT invented by Paul, the apostles, anonymous Romans, Greek philosophers or the Church?
Why does the Qur’an keep Muslims clueless even of any ONE prophecy of the Messiah? Wouldn’t the Qur’an’s reference to the prophecies of the Messiah help to support the claims it makes about Isa of the Qur’an? Could the reason why the Qur’an ignores any reference to the prophecies of the Messiah be to keep beloved Muslims in the dark and also to enable the Qur’an’s hidden agenda of inventing its imposter of Jesus, Isa of the Qur’an, who is a rejection of everything ALL the the prophets were saying about the Messiah to come? Why is it that all beloved Muslims dismally fail to make reference to even ONE prophecy of the Messiah when asked to?
The biggest obstacle preventing Muslims from receiving salvation (and receiving condemnation instead) is ignorance of the PROPHECIES OF THE MESSIAH written by the prophets of old.
The Law of Moses (the Torah) and the prophets of old who taught that God is ONE [“ONE” in Deuteronomy 6:4 in the Hebrew is “ECHAD” which means a single entity but made up of more than one part (unity). There is another Hebrew word from the same root–“YACHID” which means single)]. “ECHAD” is also used in Genesis 2:24 in referring to a husband and wife being “one” flesh. The same Law of Moses and the Prophets also write about what the coming Messiah would BE and DO (the Qur’an leaves Muslims in total darkness about the PROPHECIES of the Messiah). Do what the prophets of old say of the Messiah [whom they also refer to by the title ‘the Branch’ (Jeremiah 23:5-6, Zechariah 6:12, Isaiah 4:2-3 and Isaiah 11)] FIT with Jesus the Son of God of the Gospels or with Isa the prophet of the Qur’an?
The issue of the identity of Jesus (whether he was just a prophet or is the Son of God) is so important that it makes one of the two religions of Islam and Christianity FALSE based on its claims about Jesus alone.
But where can these CLAIMS (Son of God or Prophet) which the NT and the Qur’an make about Jesus be tested objectively outside the Qur’an and NT?
It is through the Law of Moses (Torah) and THE PROPHETS of old in the Hebrew Old Testament scripture (It is important to note that Christians did not write the Old Testament (OT) but acknowledge it to be written by the prophets inspired by God).
Jesus stated that MOSES and the PROPHETS spoke of him:
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the LAW OF MOSES, THE PROPHETS and the PSALMS.”
Luke 24:44
If the prophecies of the Messiah from the prophets of old FIT with the Qur’anic prophet Isa then Islam is TRUE and the Son of God of Christianity is FALSE. The opposite is true: Islam will be FALSE if the prophecies of the Messiah FIT with Jesus Christ the Son of God. Fair, right?
A study of the prophecies of the Messiah show that the Prophets of old who wrote of the Messiah were saying the SAME THING over many generations: the Messiah would come from the tribe of Judah, the tribe of the kings of Israel (from the line Jesse and David) and would be given a THRONE, SOVEREIGN POWER, GLORY and will RULE the NATIONS and the KINGDOM OF GOD FOREVER.
PROPHECY NUMBER 1
In the book of Genesis (first book of the Torah/Law of Moses) when Jacob blesses his twelve sons, he blesses his son Judah and makes a prophecy about the ONE to whom “the obedience of the nations will be his” (also prophesied as the son of man/Son of God in Daniel 7:13-14, 1 Chronicles 17:11-15, Isaiah 9:6). Jesus is referred to as “the Lion of the tribe of Judah” (Revelation 5:5)
What is the prophecy in the Law of Moses Jacob makes about the Messiah?
Then Jacob called for his sons and said: “Gather around so I can tell you what will happen to you in days to come.
Genesis 49:1
“Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you. You are a LIONS CUB, JUDAH; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness—who dares to rouse him? The SCEPTER will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until HE TO WHOM IT BELONGS SHALL COME and THE OBEDIENCE OF THE NATIONS SHALL BE HIS.
Genesis 49:8-10
The ONE to come, the Messiah, will be king of all the nations in his second coming.
PROPHECY NUMBER 2
The prophet during the time of King David, is sent by God to deliver a prophecy to King David:
“When your days are over and you go to be with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne FOREVER. I will be his FATHER, and he will be my SON. I will never take my love away from him, as I took it away from your predecessor. I will set him OVER MY HOUSE and MY KINGDOM forever; his throne will be established FOREVER.’ ” Nathan reported to David all the words of this entire revelation.
1 Chronicles 17:11-15
It is not surprising therefore that in the Gospel, Jesus often speaks of his Father and him (Jesus) being the Son. In the book of Moses (Genesis 49:1-10) we also read that the ONE would, unlike the other kings, be obeyed by the nations. The Son in this scripture will be king in the kingdom of God and he will be ‘set over God’s house’ or temple.
FULFILLMENT
“But Christ is faithful as the Son OVER GOD’S HOUSE. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.
Hebrews 3:6
The house/temple of God is a house which is forever. It’s a spiritual house, not a house made with hands by Solomon, king Herod (or the Kaaba claimed to have been built by Adam, Abraham and Ishmael). The house of God is the church, not a physical church building, but the collective of believers in Jesus Christ the Son of God. It is in the belief that he is the Son of God, that Jesus built his church (Matthew 16:18) and the gates of hell will not prevail over it.
“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief CORNERSTONE, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:19-22
Believers are built together into a House of God, with Jesus as the CORNERSTONE of the House of God, for a dwelling place of God in the spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
The Kaaba and the Hajr e aswad (House of Allah and the black stone as its CORNERSTONE is a deception, imitation, mockery and blasphemy of the true house of God.
2. PROPHECY NUMBER 3
First of all, in the Tanakh Jewish scripture/OT) written long before the Romans, Paul or Nicea, Daniel saw in the throne of heaven the ‘son of man’ (whom Jesus said he was) come before the ‘Ancient of days’ (the Father) and the Ancient of days gave him an EVERLASTING kingdom:
“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, GLORY and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language WORSHIPED him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his KINGDOM is one that will NEVER BE DESTROYED .”
Daniel 7:13-14
Is there any where in the Qur’an where Allah says he will give Isa this honor (a prophet) to reign in the everlasting kingdom forever?
Apparently Isa will rule for 40 years then DIE! This is NOT the true Jesus.
Does this scripture of Daniel match with Jesus CHRIST? YES!
FULFILLMENT
Jesus further confirms that he has a Kingdom. “My KINGDOM is not of this world. If My KINGDOM were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My KINGDOM is not from here.”
John 18:36
Jesus Christ will sit on his throne and judge the nations.
“When the Son of Man comes in His GLORY, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the THRONE of His glory.
Matthew 25:31
The angel Gabriel in the gospel of Luke continues this prophecy about the THRONE and REIGN and KINGDOM of the Messiah as written in the Jewish OT:
“He shall be GREAT, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the THRONE of his father David: and he shall REIGN over the house of Jacob FOR EVER; and of his KINGDOM there shall be NO END.”
Luke 1:32-33
Who is is true to the teaching of the prophets about the Messiah: Gabriel of the Gospels or Jibreel of the Qur’an?
PROPHECY NUMBER 4
“Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of ZEBULUN and the land of NAPHTALI, but in the future he will honor GALILEE of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan— The people walking in DARKNESS have seen a great LIGHT; on those living in the land of deep darkness a LIGHT has SHINED. FOR TO US A CHILD IS BORN, TO US A SON IS GIVEN, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be NO END. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and FOREVER. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.”

FULFILLMENT
‘Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to GALILEE. And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of ZEBULUN and NAPHTALI, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by ISAIAH THE PROPHET, saying: “The land of ZEBULUN and the land of NAPHTALI , By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, GALILEE of the GENTILES : The people who sat in DARKNESS have seen a great LIGHT, And upon those who sat in the region and SHADOW OF DEATH LIGHT has dawned.”

This scripture confirms Jesus as the Mighty God of Isaiah 9:6.
PROPHECY NUMBER 5
““ ‘In those days and at that time I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line; he will do what is just and right in the land. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. This is the name by which it will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.’
Jeremiah 33:15-16
FULFILLMENT
Jesus confirms that he is Lord by stating that only those who call him Lord AND do the will of the Father, will enter the kingdom of heaven.
“Not EVERYONE who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, BUT only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Jesus says of himself:
“For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”
Matthew 12:8
“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
Acts 2:36
“They [the Antichrist and his alliance of nations] will wage war against the Lamb (Jesus Christ), but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of Lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

Can Muslims provide prophecies which support the 7th century Qur’anic claim that Jesus was ONLY A PROPHET? No.
CONCLUSION: none of the Messianic prophecies fit with the Qur’anic Jesus (Prophet Isa). The Qur’anic Jesus is false and an imposter of the Son of God—Jesus Christ. Isa is not eternal and does not have an everlasting kingdom. When he returns he will die. The conversation in Al-Maidah 5:109-120 is therefore false, blasphemous, satanic, delusional and a deceptive exploitation of the true Jesus inorder to make Islam and Allah, the best of all deceivers and false god of the Qur’an, appear true while deceitfully stripping Jesus of his kingship, glory, dominion, Sonship and divinity. The god of the Qur’an is Satan himself claiming (29:46) to be the true God whose name is “the God of Abraham, Isaac and the God Jacob (Exodus 3:15).
God is ONE (Deuteronomy 6:4) as confirmed by Jesus in Mark 12:29. “The Father and the Son are ONE” (John 10:30). Jesus said to Philip that if he has seen the Son he has seen the Father (John 14:9). The Son is God in essence.
“The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”
John 3:35-36
“Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is ANTICHRIST who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.”
