SATAN HATES THE CROSS

If Jesus was meant to lay down his life for the sins of many, does SATAN look to the cross with JOY or HATE?

The answer is simple: SATAN HATES THE CROSS.

Peter, called Jesus the ‘Son of the living God’. He fled when Jesus was taken away for crucifixion but re-emeged to see the wounded Jesus after his resurrection. Jesus spoke to his mother, Mary, and the disciple whom he loved, John, while on the cross. If you were Peter, living in the first century you would have known that if SATAN were to lie and produce his own version of the gospel, he would certainly deny:

  1. that Jesus is the Son of God.
  2. the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus
  3. the trinity of God

Why is it that all the three denials are exactly the same as those of the god of the Qur’an made 600 years later?

The Qur’ans account of the crucifixion fails dismally on many levels because it deceptively ignores the reason as to why the crucifixion was necessary. Jesus said—referring to his crucifixion— that SATAN would be DEFEATED:
“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world (SATAN) be CAST OUT. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth [crucified], will draw all men unto me.”
John 12:31‭-‬32

SATAN hates the power of the cross because it is the power of salvation.

It’s saddening for anyone to believe the view of the Qur’an —over 500 years later—that Allah ‘made it to appear like they had killed him’ in order to save Jesus from the disgrace and humiliation of the cross. Instead, the cross would be a statement of VICTORY over the power of sin and death! Instead of disgrace and humiliation, the cross brought GRACE and SALVATION.

‘For the LAW was given by Moses, but GRACE and truth came by Jesus Christ.’ John 1:17

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. John 11:25

Jesus had previously demonstrated that he could easily use his powers to escape from crowds wanting to kill him:

‘When they heard these things, all in the synagogue were filled with wrath. And they rose up and drove him out of the town and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, so that they could throw him down the cliff. But passing through their midst, he went away.
Luke 4:28‭-‬30

The angels could have rescued Jesus from the crucifixion if Jesus so wanted to be saved from crucifixion:
“And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?”
Matthew 26:51‭-‬54

God had crafted the crucifixion from the foundation of the world [Revelations 13:8]. Jesus knew of his crucifixion in advance and why it was important for God’s plan that he should submit himself to it. He was not taken by surprise or trapped by the events leading up to it:

‘And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him to the Gentiles to be mocked and scourged and CRUCIFIED, and he will be raised on the third day.”  even as the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:17‭-‬19‭, ‬28)

Peter couldn’t accept that his Lord would be crucified and therefore tried to discourage Jesus:

But He [Jesus] turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, SATAN! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
Matthew 16:23

Indeed under the Law of Moses God had always required the shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sins. This is why in the Tanakh Jewish scripture, Jesus is prophesied as the ‘arm of the Lord’ who was ‘smitten of God’, ‘crushed’, ‘wounded’, ‘led as a lamb to the slaughter’ ‘and the LORD hath made to light on him the iniquity of us all’, ‘he was cut off out of the land of the living, for the transgression of my people to whom the stroke was due’ ‘Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin’ and ‘bared his soul unto DEATH and bore the SINS OF MANY’ [Isaiah 53 Tanakh Jewish Bible].

Jesus Christ was that HOLY lamb of God [John 1:29] who would bare his soul unto DEATH for the sins of many [Isaiah 53:12] because the sacrifice of animals could not really permanently take away sins [Hebrews 10:4] The sacrifices had to be repeated every year. (No man can die for the sins of another man because it takes only a HOLY sacrifice to die for the sins of others)

“Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the DEVIL— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
Hebrews 2:14‭-‬15

Jesus was witnessed by his mother, Mary, his disciple (John) and others while on the cross and he actually identified himself as Jesus and spoke to them! It doesn’t get any more truthful than this:

‘Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.John 19:25‭-‬27)

While the law is holy and good, however, because we are human [Romans 7:12]; it causes us to sin when we break it. The law therefore curses us.

“Christ redeemed us from the CURSE OF THE LAW, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed be every one who hangs on a tree”
Galatians 3:13

“The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.”
1 Corinthians 1:18

In the book of Psalms, David says:
“But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me. Selah” [Psalms 49:15]

In view of the celebration of the cross and what it means for mankind, why does ALLAH despise the cross by CLAIMING Jesus was not crucified? Is this not exactly what the Great Deceiver (the Devil) would want to claim too? UNLESS…

It’s not surprising that Muhammad and Allah should HATE the cross. The apostles prophesied and warned of false prophets who would come with ANOTHER MESSAGE about the cross and would be disguised as “servants of righteousness”, inspired by Satan, who will disguise himself as an angel of LIGHT and RIGHTEOUSNESS. If the angel calling himself “Gebreel” ever existed, do not believe him for he brought with him a gospel different from that which the disciplies preached.

“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.”
2 Corinthians 11:14‭

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! Galatians 1:8
