SHOULD MUSLIMS BE DISTURBED BY THE SEXUAL LANGUAGE OF EZEKIEL 16?

In Ezekiel 16, God is justly and strongly condemning and rebuking Jerusalem for its abomination and METAPHORICALLY compares Jerusalem to an adulterous wife (not a literal wife!). The chapter shows God as a devoted, loving, generous, ideal husband married to an adulterous wife, reminiscent of other passages such as Jeremiah 3 and Hosea 1-3.

Did Allah, the god of the Qur’an condemn or rebuke Muhammad for having sex with his slave Maria al-Qibtiyya in the house and bed of his wife Hafsah? You are disgusted by the metaphorical language in Ezekiel 16? What about the the 7th century god of the Qur’an, Allah, allowing (QS 4:24) Muhammad’s armies to have sex with captured women, even if they were married (which on is actual rape and adultery in the eyes of the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob)

In Ezekiel 16,  the metaphorical wife is Jerusalem, representative of the Jewish nation, the remnant of Israel. At Mount Sinai, God was married to the entire nation of Israel.

“ ‘Woe! Woe to you, declares the Sovereign Lord. In addition to all your other wickedness, you built a mound for yourself and made a lofty shrine in every public square. At every street corner you built your lofty shrines and degraded your beauty, spreading your legs with increasing promiscuity to anyone who passed by. You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your neighbors with large genitals, and aroused my anger with your increasing promiscuity. So I stretched out my hand against you and reduced your territory; I gave you over to the greed of your enemies, the daughters of the Philistines, who were shocked by your lewd conduct. You engaged in prostitution with the Assyrians too, because you were insatiable; and even after that, you still were not satisfied. Then you increased your promiscuity to include Babylonia, a land of merchants, but even with this you were not satisfied. “ ‘I am filled with fury against you, declares the Sovereign Lord, when you do all these things, acting like a brazen prostitute!
