Was the crucifixion a curse or COVERNANT for eternal salvation of human kind? Why did someone have to die for the sins of others? Can’t God Just forgive?
God HAS ALWAYS REQUIRED THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS.
“In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.”

[The Hebrew meaning for the word ‘COVENANT’ (בְּרִית bĕriyth) is “TO CUT AND SHED BLOOD.”]
Do you know that a blood SACRIFICE was REQUIRED for the yearly atonement of sins of the Israelites and to bring into effect the COVENANT of Moses?
“And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said: ‘Behold the BLOOD of the COVENANT, which the LORD hath made with you in agreement with all these words.'”

In the Hebrew scriptures its clear Jesus was to be the NEW COVENANT of GRACE (righteousness by faith through grace) which would improve on Moses’ COVENANT of the LAW (of righteousness by works of the law) because God saw that the Israelites ‘disregarded’ Moses’ covenant. For although the law was good, pure and holy, the Israelites were of the flesh and the law caused sin to increase. The Law of Moses was ACCUSATORY and a CURSE but the Covenant of Jesus would be founded on MERCY and the keeping of God’s commandments.
Jesus said:
“Do not think that I will ACCUSE you to the Father: there is one that ACCUSETH you, even MOSES, in whom ye trust.”

“Christ redeemed us from the CURSE of the law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed be every one who hangs on a tree” —

“For the LAW was given by Moses, but GRACE and truth came by Jesus Christ.”

Without exception, Jesus’ COVENANT was to be made effective by the SHEDDING Of HIS BLOOD as the lamb of God. Jesus’ coming in the flesh through the virgin birth (as first born) and remaining without sin throughout was for him to offer himself as a sinless sacrifice for the sins of mankind, in line with the tradition of sacrificing a spotless first born lamb as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins of the Israelites. It therefore makes sense that Jesus was born in a MANGER (a place in Jewish history where the best lambs for sacrifice were placed) because he is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Why was he first revealed to the SHEPHERDS of Migdal Eder [the tower of the flock(Micah 4:8)] who served the sacrificial system in Israel for the atonement of sins?
In the Jewish scriptures (which is the go to historical source for any serious religion claiming to be of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) why did God tell Abraham to offer (instead of an animal) his son Isaac [not Ishmael] ‘whom you love’ (a MAN), as a sacrifice (Genesis 22:2 Jewish Bible)? Isaac was a TYPE of Jesus. He was pointing the future offering of the only BEGOTTEN Son of the Father, Jesus the messiah as a sacrifice.
[According to the Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature (BAGD, 3rd Edition),the Greek word ‘begotten’ (‘monogenēs’ /’μονογενῆ’) does not mean, as is deceitfully made popular by the Qur’an, that God would have needed a wife to ‘beget’/give birth to or that God created Jesus; the Greek word for BEGOTTEN means “pertaining to being the only one of its kind or class, unique in kind.”]
Jesus is prophesied as the new COVENANT. God this time says He will make himself as part of the terms and conditions of this new deal. He will send his Son as a lamb for the atonement of the sins of mankind once and for all. Remember that God eventually provided a ram for the sacrifice Abraham was about to perform and SAVED Isaac’s life? Similarly, God has provided his Son as a sacrifice so that we can be SAVED and enter his Kingdom.
Why offer His Son?
“Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—”
Hebrews 2:14
Was animal sacrifice the most ideal for the forgiveness of sins? God through Isaiah said:
“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

“The old system under the law of Moses was only a SHADOW , a dim preview of the GOOD THINGS TO COME, not the good things themselves. The SACRIFICES under that system were repeated again and again, year after year, but they were never able to provide perfect cleansing for those who came to worship. If they could have provided perfect cleansing, the sacrifices would have stopped, for the worshipers would have been purified once for all time, and their feelings of guilt would have disappeared.”
Hebrews 10:1-2

2. Are the New Covenant and the crucifixion one thing? Yes. ‘COVENANT’ (בְּרִית bĕriyth) is “TO CUT AND SHED BLOOD.”]
Jesus/Yeshua means God is Salvation.
God sends his Son, who many times is referred to as his ‘ARM’, to be the new COVENANT for the salvation of mankind, because the old Covenant of Moses, which the Israelites were certain they would keep without God’s divine intervention, was instantly broken by them even as Moses was still coming down from the mountain!
The covenant of the LAW was to be temporary but the covenant of GRACE is everlasting.
“And I looked, and there was none to help, and I beheld in astonishment, and there was none to uphold; therefore Mine own ARM brought SALVATION unto Me, and My fury, it upheld Me.”
Tanakh Hebrew Bible Isaiah 63:5
John the Baptist, is sent as a messenger before the Messiah (who is referred to as ‘Lord’ AND ‘the messenger of the COVENANT’)
“Behold, I send My messenger, and he shall clear the way before Me; and the Lord, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to His temple, and the messenger of the COVENANT, whom ye delight in, behold, he cometh, saith the LORD of hosts.”

“That is why the Tabernacle (or temple in Jerusalem) and everything in it, which were copies of things in heaven, had to be purified by the blood of animals. But the real things in heaven had to be purified with far better sacrifices than the blood of animals.” Hebrews 9:23
Jesus KNEW about his CRUCIFIXION and RESURRECTION and how it would lead to the SALVATION of all mankind. Read Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53 prophecy of the crucifixion of Jesus for the transgressions of many. The deception by the Qur’an that Allah ‘made it appear to them that they killed him’ will DAMN Muslims, not to the laughable fairyland of Jannah with 70 virgins and flowing rivers of wine but to the flames of hell! Jannah is NOT the heaven of Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!

In Jesus’ last supper (before his crucifixion) with the disciples, he gave them a cup to drink and symbolically referred to the wine as his blood of the NEW COVENANT.
Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the NEW COVENANT, which is SHED for MANY for the remission of sins.

The prophet Zechariah, who is noted in the Qur’an, gives a detailed prophecy of the last days when they’ll be an awakening among the Jews when it becomes revealed to them that they crucified the Messiah.
“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of GRACE and pleas for MERCY , so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have PIERCED, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

What is Isa’s COVENANT and SALVATION? Jesus without the crucifixion is Isa. What did Isa do for your salvation? If the false god of this world really LOVED you do you think he could come out from behind his veil and do what Jesus did: come down in the form of a man and offer himself as a sacrifice to save Muslims?
