MUHAMMAD NOT PROPHESIED IN ISAIAH 42: IT IS ABOUT THE MESSIAH—JESUS CHRIST!

Isaiah 42 can never be the place to look for the prophecy of Muhammad because of 3 main reasons:
1. The Qur’an specifically says to find Muhammad/Ahmed written in the Torah and Gospels! The book of Isaiah is neither in the Torah nor the Gospels.
2. God gives the prophecy of the servant of Isaiah 42. Which God is this? Allah of the Qur’an who is Father to no one (QS 6:100) or the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who spiritually is our Father (Deuteronomy 32:6)?

Isaiah himself makes it clear that this is not Muhammad’s god making the prophecy:

“But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name” (Isaiah 63:16).

“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord; do not remember our sins forever. Oh, look on us, we pray, for we are all your people”
(Isaiah 64:8‭-‬9).

Remember that Allah of the Qur’an, in no way, shape or form is he FATHER to anyone (QS 6:100). God being our spiritual Father does not mean (as the Greek pagan worshipers of Zues and the Qur’an (QS 6:101) would have Muslims believe too) that it is impossible for us to be God’s children, unless God had genitals and a partner/consort! Allah seems very limited in his ability to relate spiritually to his creation as his children. In his limitation, Allah identifies in this case with the pagan gods of Greek mythology!

The Greek pagan god Zues had children through his wives, which may explain why Allah thinks the same in QS 6:101

Having clarified that the god of the Muhammad and the God of Isaiah are not the same God, this destroys the impossible and ridiculous argument by Muslims that just because the Isaiah 42 prophecy mentions Kheda therefore it must be ABOUT Muhammad and FROM his god, the 7th century Allah of the Qur’an!

3. Now let’s look at the text of the prophecy itself. The ENTIRE chapter of Isaiah 42 refers to one subject: the prophecy of ONE servant—the MESSIAH. It does not refer to two (or more subjects). It details the Messiah’s TASK and the REACTION (rejoicing) of mankind in various places of the world (including Keddah) to the news or work of the Messiah. One can’t just abandon the holistic meaning of the entire chapter and point to a single verse or two and then claim those verses are referring to ANOTHER servant!

Who is the servant of Isaiah 42?

It’s easy to know. Just compare the verses in Isaiah 42 to the verses in the Gospels where Jesus announces in the synagogue that he was the one prophesied in Isaiah (42) to fulfil those TASKS. The mention of the places like Keddah and surrounding areas are only REACTING to the coming of the Messiah and his ministry.

1A. “A bruised reed shall he not break, and the dimly burning wick shall he not quench; he shall make the right to go forth according to the truth.”[Tanakh Bible Isaiah 42:3]

1B. “But when Jesus knew it , he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; and charged them that they should not make him known: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,  Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; My beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, And he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, nor cry; Neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, And smoking flax shall he not quench, Till he send forth judgment unto victory.”[Matthew 12:15‭-‬20]

2A.”I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and have taken hold of thy hand, and kept thee, and set thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the nations; to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison-house.”[Isaiah 42:6-7 Tanakh Jewish Bible]

2B “The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to bring good tidings unto the humble; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes to them that are bound;”[Tanakh Bible Isaiah 61:1]

This is fulfilled in the New Testament:

2C “And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,  ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,  Because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;  He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives,  And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”Luke 4:17‭-‬21 KJV

Once you identify who the servant is, the rest becomes secondary. The idea in the verses about Keddah, the villages and coastlands refers to the Arabians; which were a heathenish and barbarous people, and well known to the Jews, and are symbolically put for all nations in the same circumstances. They were yet to partake of the benefits of his coming, and to have occasion of joy at his coming.

There are prophecies in the bible which describe Muhammad more accurately.

Jesus warned:
“… the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.
John 16:2

It’s not surprising that Muhammad’s book, QS 9:5, called to slay the polytheist who break the treaties unless they turn in repentance and keep up Prayer and go on presenting the Zakât and also called to strike unbelievers on their necks, fingertips and toes.

At Muhammad’s command, 800 Jewish men of the Qurayza tribe who had SURRENDERED after their betrayal of Muhammad’s tribute were beheaded in 627.

Further, Jesus warned:
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? (Matthew 7:15‭-‬16)

We know Muhammad by his “fruits” because he violeted all the 10 commandments of Moses .
The apostles prophesied and warned of false prophets disguised as “servants of righteousness” who would come inspired by Satan, disguising himself as an angel of LIGHT and RIGHTEOUSNES.

“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.”
2 Corinthians 11:14‭

Islam deceptively teaches salvation through “righteous deeds”—the 5 pillars of Islam (Shahada, salat, zakat, sawm and Hajj)—in reality Hajj, Kaaba and Hajr e aswad are IDOLATROUS, ABOMINABLE and BLASPHEMOUS to the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
