ISA IS A FALSE JESUS?

If Muslims, “highly honor” Isa [QS3:45] can they demonstrate that honor by quoting at least ONE prophecy of Isa from Jewish scripture (written before Rome, Paul and Nicea)?

While speaking to a woman of Samaria who had come to draw water at the well, the woman had become impressed at the wisdom and prophetic power of Jesus and this prompted the woman to say to Jesus: “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”John 4:25‭-‬26

From where did the woman know of the coming of the Messiah? From Jewish scripture (the Old Testament)! Indeed there are many prophecies of the Messiah in the Old Testament. Here lies the falsehood of Islam: Prophet Isa is nothing like the prophecies attributes of the Messiah but Jesus Christ is the perfect fulfillment of the prophecies of the Messiah!

In the Tanakh Jewish scripture, the Messiah is the ‘arm of the Lord’ who would be ‘smitten of God’, ‘crushed’, ‘wounded’, ‘led as a lamb to the slaughter’, bared his soul unto DEATH and bore the SINS OF MANY’ [Isaiah 53 Tanakh Jewish Bible].

The act of Jesus laying down his life for many is in line with the meaning of his name: Jesus means God saves. The crucifixion of Jesus for the sins of many IS the good news—the Gospel! In what way did Isa save if he did not lay down his life for many and does not have a gospel of salvation.

Tanakh Jewish scriptures clearly that the ‘son of man’ (whom Jesus said he was) would be GIVEN—by ‘the Ancient of days’ (the Father)—a THRONE, DOMINION, GLORY, and would be SERVED by all the nations in his EVERLASTING KINGDOM [Daniel 7:13-14 Tanakh Jewish Bible].

Because Muslims have not done any due diligence, they end up believing in a mute, incompetent, powerless, and doomed Isa who, ironically, is the Word of God but did not come with a word of salvation, performed pointless miracles and did not fulfill the prophecies mentioned in Jewish scripture. He will return to earth and die and be buried.

According to the dubious claim of QS 4:157—which contradicts the righteous servant of Isaiah 53 who ‘bared his soul unto DEATH and ‘bore the SINS OF MANY’ —Isa and Allah did not clarify to Jesus’s disciples about what happened or did not happen to him on the cross but was just quickly whisked away to heaven leaving the disciples clueless and an innocent man to die in his place? If you follow the disjointed story of the Qur’an then this little oversight on the part of Jesus and Allah has deceived and condemned generations upon generations and billions upon billions of Christians to hell? What kind of God would knowingly deceive the faithful followers of Jesus? These are some of the questions which don’t make sense in the narrative of the Qur’an:

  1. What reason did the Jewish high priests have for wanting to crucify jesus, if not for Jesus saying that he was the Son of God?
  2. Why did an innocent man have to die then in Jesus’s place?
  3. Why didn’t the god of the Qur’an just save Jesus from the mob wanting to crucify him?
  4. Jesus had on previous occasions miraculously disappeared from crowds wanting to stone him. Why didn’t he try to escape the crucifixion if not for the real reason that he willingly offered himself as a sin-offering for the sins of many?

If Isa is the word and spirit (Roohullah) of God, why is he not eternal but will return to earth to accede his authority to the Mahdi?

Despite the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob having adopted Israel as his children, revealed his glory to them, to them were given the law, made covenants and promises to them which God never fails to keep—YET Isa—who was a Jew, will however return and, like a war general, lead an army to kill Jews and christians (“non believers”) who were—out of no fault of their own— “deceived” into believing he had been crucified! He, as the Word and Roohullah, will then DIE and be buried? This has to be one of the most disjointed and dishonest accounts I’ve ever heard!

The Messiah is GREAT, and his EVERLASTING KINGDOM is coming! Isa is a reinvented, captured and disposable copy of Jesus in the Qur’an. Isa is a deliberate misrepresentation and mockery of the true Messiah.
