The Son is ETERNAL and exists in eternity as SPIRIT long before he temporarily took the form of a man by birth through Mary. Victims of deception will perish because of lack of knowledge!
Prophesy about the Messiah from the Old Testament :
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are FROM OF OLD, FROM EVERLASTING.” (Micah 5:2).
Does the above prophecy refer to Jesus? ‘After Jesus was born in BETHLEHEM in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: “ ‘But you, BETHLEHEM, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’” (Matthew 2:1-6)
‘John testified about him [Jesus] when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he EXISTED LONG BEFORE me.’” John 1:15
Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and I keep his word. Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, BEFORE Abraham was, I am.” John 8:54-58

Was Jesus with the Israelites on their journey from Egypt?
“For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors [the Israelites] were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:1-4
