If Muslims, “highly honor” Isa [QS3:45] can they demonstrate that honor by quoting at least ONE prophecy of Isa from Jewish scripture (written before Rome, Paul and Nicea)?
While speaking to a woman of Samaria who had come to draw water at the well, the woman had become impressed at the wisdom and prophetic power of Jesus and this prompted the woman to say to Jesus: “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”John 4:25-26
From where did the woman know of the coming of the Messiah? From Jewish scripture (the Old Testament)! Indeed there are many prophecies of the Messiah in the Old Testament. Here lies the falsehood of Islam: Prophet Isa is nothing like the prophecies attributes of the Messiah but Jesus Christ is the perfect fulfillment of the prophecies of the Messiah!
Jews quote verses about the Messiah from the same scripture so you won’t fail to find them.
In the Tanakh Jewish scripture, the Messiah is the ‘arm of the Lord’ who ‘bared his soul unto DEATH, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the SINS OF MANY’? Tanakh Jewish Bible Isaiah 53:12
The Tanakh Jewish Bible clearly states that the ‘son of man’ (whom Jesus said he was) would be GIVEN—by ‘the Ancient of days’ (the Father)—a THRONE, DOMINION, GLORY, and would be SERVED by all the nations in his EVERLASTING KINGDOM [Daniel 7:13-14 Tanakh Jewish Bible].
Because Muslims have not done any due diligence, they end up believing in a DUMB, INCOMPETENT, POWERLESS, and DOOMED Isa who, ironically, is the Word of God but did not come with a word of salvation, performed pointless miracles, did not fulfill the prophecies mentioned in Jewish scripture. Is Isa the captured and throwaway tool of the Qur’an whom you so highly honor?
Why don’t we find out what the Tanakh Jewish Bible (Old Testament) said about the REAL Messiah?
For the avoidance of doubt, here is my humble request:
IF YOU HIGHLY HONOR THE MESSIAH, DO THE HONORABLE THING AND PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE PROPHECY OF HIM FROM JEWISH SCRIPTURE.
If you can’t, it’s clear you are honoring an Isa that is a deliberate misrepresentation and mockery of the true Messiah and this alone is enough to prove that Islam and Allah are a great deception.
